After attending Radbrook College, David spent 3 years moving through the ranks of Shropshire hotels developing & learning his craft. An ambition of cooking & travelling was fulfilled when he spent 2 years working across Australia & Indonesia learning Pacific Rim flavours & modern Australian cookery.
David returned to the UK, learning pastry for 2 years at The Forest Hotel in Solihull, he returned to Shropshire to work at The New Inn in Baschurch working with Marcus & Jenny over seeing & running the kitchen.
David now works in food development where he studies and researches Indian & Asian cuisine, analysing food trends and cooking & developing Indian & Oriental products for retailers & supermarkets.
Key highlights include trips to India and working alongside Ken Hom OBE, learning & cooking with one of the foremost authorities on Chinese cookery. David looks forward to sharing with you an authentic experience that is uncomplicated, informal & relaxed.
