Keen gourmet chefs (aged 10 to 16!) will have the chance to be introduced to cooking vocabulary, tools and utensils in the kitchen. We place emphasis on healthy nutritional food and presentation.

The children will break for a relaxing lunch in the dining room eating what they have created. Cooking will resume in the afternoon and we will box up anything else they have created to take home. Friends and family will be amazed at what they have achieved!

The half day will finish at 1pm. The children will be able to go home happy and full with lots of ideas and energy for more cooking at home! They will take home something delicious they have created. Friends and family will be amazed at what they have achieved!

Children's Cookery Courses

Junior Cookery is a fun-filled practical course for children who love to cook! The course is designed to be fun and creative for the children but at the same time learning about the ingredients they are cooking. The children will have a lovely morning of cookery and then will relax at lunch time in the dining room eating their culinary creations. If it is a full day's course the children will resume their cookery in the afternoon until 4pm. Our Chef, Cathy, will teach the children a different menu on each course.
